Fernando Fernandez was appointed Chief Executive Officer in March 2025. As CEO of Unilever, Fernando is responsible for leading one of the world’s largest and most geographically diverse consumer goods businesses, with presence in 190 countries, serving 3.4 billion people every day.
Prior to this, Fernando was Chief Financial Officer from January 2024. Previously, Fernando had a successful tenure as President of Beauty & Wellbeing, one of Unilever’s fastest growing businesses. He also held roles as President Latin America, CEO Brazil, and CEO Philippines. He has led some of the company’s best performing markets, delivering strong financial results while developing exceptional talent.
Fernando is an economist from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. He joined Unilever in 1988.
Born and raised in Argentina, Fernando is married and has two daughters.
