Does Unilever test any of its products on animals?
We are at the forefront of research into novel non-animal approaches to replace animal testing. The vast majority of our products reach consumers without testing any of their ingredients on animals. Our commitment to eliminating animal testing is underpinned by our work since the 1980s in developing and using alternatives to animal tests, including new approaches to risk assessment, biological and computer-based modelling and non-animal methods for data generation.
