We think ice cream and smiles are the perfect combination. That’s why at Heartbrand our philosophy is, quite simply, Share Happy!
You might have noticed Heartbrand’s swirly heart-shaped logo on the packaging for ice creams including Magnum, Cornetto, Solero and Vienetta.
Our products are sold in more than 40 countries around the world, under a few different local names. In the UK and most parts of Asia, we’re known as Wall’s. In Italy, you’ll see Algida, in Germany we’re Langnese, we’re Ola in the Netherlands and in Brazil we’re called Kibon. But it’s the same delicious ice creams wherever you are.
Better for the environment, better for you
Launched in 1989, Magnum was the first ice cream on a stick designed especially for adults. Today, it’s is one of the world's leading ice cream brands, selling around one billion units a year all over the world – and we’re committed to sourcing all the cocoa used in Magnum from sustainable farms by 2015.
By the end of 2011, we had made significant progress towards our aim, with 37% of the cocoa used in Magnum’s chocolate ingredients coming from Rainforest Alliance Certified sources.
We’re also applying science and expertise to come up with irresistible ice creams that are lower in fat and sugar, and enriched with fruit and calcium. Among our range are lactose-free options, soy ice cream and ice cream for diabetics too.
In the US, we’ve used our proprietary cold extrusion technology to launch creamy double-churned products that are lower in fat than traditional recipes.
And in Europe, all our products are clearly labelled with energy, fat, protein and carbohydrate values, allowing you to make an informed choice before you indulge.
